Channel letters make each character glow individually. An LED box sign does something different: it lights your entire logo as one seamless, evenly backlit image — perfect for complex marks, script logos, and artwork that dimensional letters cannot capture. We design and fabricate custom LED light box signs for Houston storefronts, lobbies, salons, and offices, in wall-mounted, hanging, and blade-style builds, with indoor and waterproof outdoor options.
The right format depends on your facade, your foot traffic, and what your landlord and city allow. Here is how each one works.

A slim cabinet with a full-color face, mounted flat to your storefront or lobby wall. The most landlord-friendly choice in commercial strips.

Two faces, readable from both directions. Right for corner units, end-cap suites, and facades approached from two streets.

Mounted perpendicular to the building so sidewalk traffic reads you without turning their heads. The classic for coffee shops, salons, and boutiques in pedestrian areas. Projecting signs need landlord and city approval, so we confirm both before we quote.

Suspended from brackets or ceilings. Built for markets, food halls, and interior retail with no wall space to spare.

Circular lightboxes and custom-shaped cabinets for logos that aren't rectangles. The cabinet follows the artwork, not the other way around.
This is the question every sign buyer eventually asks, and the honest answer has three parts.
Because we fabricate both, the recommendation is based on your facade, your landlord's criteria, and your budget — not on what we happen to sell. (See our channel letter signs page for the other half of this answer.)
Every illuminated sign we build uses UL-listed components under UL 48. Reference: ul.com
Vector files give the cleanest result. A high-resolution image or even a clear photo works to start.
We place your logo on a realistic rendering of your sign type (wall, blade, or hanging) in your size and colors. The full price is on the mockup. Nothing is fabricated before you approve it.
Cabinet, face, LEDs, and weather sealing built to the approved mockup, with UL-listed components throughout.
Houston-area mounting included: wall anchors, hanging brackets, or blade mounts, with landlord and permit checks already done.
Send us your artwork and a photo of your storefront or wall. We will build a free LED box sign mockup so you can see the size, the glow, and the placement first.
Cost is driven by size, format (wall, blade, double-sided, or hanging), illumination options, and mounting surface. Small interior boxes often land in the low hundreds and storefront cabinets commonly run from several hundred to a few thousand. Your free mockup includes the exact itemized price.
A box sign illuminates your entire logo as one evenly lit image — better for detailed or script artwork and usually less expensive. Channel letters light each character individually — better for road visibility and dimensional facades. We quote both side by side so you can compare for your specific storefront.
Yes. Outdoor builds are sealed to IP65 or IP67 weather ratings with UV-printed faces and waterproof transformers. We specify the rating based on your sign's exposure — IP67 where the sign faces driving rain or wash-down.
Quality LED modules are rated for tens of thousands of continuous hours — years of nightly operation. The 12V transformer is the standard service part over the sign's life.
Yes — double-sided cabinets for corner locations and perpendicular blade signs for sidewalk visibility are both standard formats. Blade signs need landlord and city approval, which we check before quoting.
Yes. Cabinets are fabricated to follow your artwork, including circles, ovals, and custom outlines — you are not limited to rectangles.
Yes. An optional dusk-to-dawn sensor handles it — the sign lights at sunset and shuts off at sunrise without any daily effort.
Both. Houston-area installation is included, with mounting hardware matched to your wall type. Out-of-state orders ship crated with hanging hardware and a mounting guide.
A flat, unlit sign works nine daylight hours. An LED box sign works every hour your customers pass by — evenly lit, full-color, and running itself on a dusk-to-dawn sensor while you run the store. It is also the fastest way to make a complex logo look expensive, because the light does the work that fabrication would otherwise have to.
Send your logo — vector, PNG, or a clear photo of it — and we will send back a free mockup of your sign on your format, with the full price itemized. Approve it and we build it. Don't, and you have a rendering and a number for free.
